Ethylene Propylene DN Monomer is the most famous type of synthetic rubber. Due to its high resistance to air, water, UV rays and chemicals, this rubber has many applications in making hoses, O-rings, pipes and door and window seals.

Product Introduction:

EPDM rubber is a popular synthetic rubber that is synthesized by the copolymerization of ethylene, propylene, and diene monomers. 

Product Features:

EPDM has a high resistance to most water-based chemicals. This product also has the following features:

  • Extremely strong abrasion resistance
  • High weather resistance (from -29 to 150°C)
  • Excellent electric resistance
  • High flexibility

Note: The higher the percentage of ethylene in this grade (60-70% by weight) the greater the mechanical strength and hardness of the rubber.

This product is most commonly used in the automotive industry for instance:

  •  Heat-resistant hoses
  •  Gaskets and O-rings
  •  Sealant on doors and windows
  •  Kep270 is also suitable for use in washing machine hoses.
