Enhancers of the physical and mechanical properties of rubber and plastic base materials

Azodicarbonamide (ADCA), a white crystalline organic compound, plays a crucial role in various industrial processes. ADCA readily decomposes upon heating, releasing nitrogen gas. This property makes it a vital ingredient in the production of foamed plastics such as polystyrene foam used in packaging and insulation.

The controlled release of gas creates air pockets within the plastic, resulting in a lightweight and insulating material.

In the rubber and polymer industries, ADCA acts as a cross-linking agent. It forms bonds between polymer chains, enhancing the material’s overall strength, elasticity, and resistance to wear and tear. This property makes it valuable in tires, hoses, and other rubber products requiring durability.

Di-Cumyl peroxide

Di-Cumyl peroxide (DCP) is a white, crystalline powder chemical commonly used as a cross-linking agent in the production of polymers and elastomers. It is known for its ability to improve the mechanical and thermal properties of various materials, making it a valuable additive in the manufacturing of rubber, plastics, and other polymer-based products. DCP is also utilized in the production of wire and cable insulation, as well as in the creation of thermosetting resins.

It’s cross-linking properties make DCP a crucial component in enhancing the strength, durability, and heat resistance of a wide range of industrial and consumer products.
