Ethylene and vinyl acetate are copolymerized to form EVA. EVA is a very elastic, transparent, glossy, rigid thermoplastic material with a faint odor. It can be utilized in a wide range of compounds, including natural rubber, polyurethane foams, neoprene, and various types of composites.
The LVS430 (VS430) grade contains 18% vinyl acetate as a result of high-pressure polymerization. This grade is utilized for foam applications such as shoe soles and slippers due to its good processability. In comparison to the rubber sole, this combination is significantly lighter, more resistant, and more flexible.
