Ethylene Vinyl Acetate (EVA)

Grade: VS430, LVS430 & VA910
Ethylene Vinyl Acetate is a widely used plastic that is widely used in various industries. This material is used in the production of shoe soles, sports products, car bumpers, etc. due to its good adhesion, resistance to cracking, high flexibility and good processability.

Product Introduction:

Ethylene and vinyl acetate are copolymerized to form EVA. EVA is a very elastic, transparent, glossy, rigid thermoplastic material with a faint odor. It can be utilized in a wide range of compounds, including natural rubber, polyurethane foams, neoprene, and various types of composites.

Product Features:

  •  Excellent adhesion to a variety of polar and non-porous substrates
  •  Strong resistance to puncture and cracking
  •  Sufficient flexibility
  •  High chemical resistance
  •  Fine traction
  •  Toughness at low temperatures
  •  Resistance against brittleness
  •  Preventing the penetration of gases

Product Applications:

The LVS430 (VS430) grade contains 18% vinyl acetate as a result of high-pressure polymerization. This grade is utilized for foam applications such as shoe soles and slippers due to its good processability. In comparison to the rubber sole, this combination is significantly lighter, more resistant, and more flexible.

Other applications for this product include:

  •  Crosslinked foam-buggy wheels
  •  Car bumpers
  •  Hot melt adhesives
  •  Insulators for cables and wires
  •  Producing toys and sporting goods
  •  Flexible hoses

Storage Condition:

  • The storage place of this product in the warehouse must have adequate ventilation.
  • The product should be stored in a cool, dry place.
  • Keep flammable materials away from the warehouse.
  •  Because there is a risk of spontaneous ignition of EVA at high temperatures, it is critical to monitor the temperature and storage conditions.

Appearance Specifications:

  • Appearance of the product: white granules
  • Type of packaging: bag
  • Weight of each bag: 25 kg
  • Country of manufacture: South Korea
  • Existing brand: Lotte chemical
