Accelerator CBS (CZ)

CBS (CZ) is a secondary accelerator mainly used to control curing time and increase heat resistance in the rubber manufacturing process.

Product Introduction:

This product is one of the primary sulfonamide accelerators, which are frequently used with secondary accelerators in the production of rubber components. Primary accelerator: this group of accelerators usually have a long burning time and are quickly cooked in the main stage of vulcanization Polymer accelerators are used to produce various types of rubber such as isoprene, styrene, butadiene and NBR. Sulfonamides are one of the most popular primary accelerators. They can be synthesized by reacting 2-mercaptobenzothiazole with simple amines such as cycloheylamine or tert-butylamine.

Product Features:

This material is soluble in benzene, chloroform, acetone, ethyl acetate. While being insoluble in water and gasoline, it is not easily dissolved in alcohol. These auxiliary accelerators increase the curing speed but also reduce the burn safety of the polymer. One of the problems of sulfonamides is their limited stability in storage

Product Applications:

CBS is an initial accelerator appropriate for use in the production materials such as NBR, SBR, and EPDM. This product will work better and have excellent physical qualities when used at a temperature lower than room temperature. It is typically useful when activated by TMTD and DPG.

Storage Condition:

The product should be stored in a cool, dry place with enough ventilation, away from direct sunlight. Based on the specific needs of the customer, this product may come in the shape of an ultra-fine powder (150 µm).
